Deborah Barclay

Deborah is a resident of the First Coast and resides in the Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island area. She has lived in many places including abroad, but prefers this beachfront community for its small town feel and casual lifestyle.

Her family was from this area as well. Her grandfather was a shrimp boat captain back in the 40's and 50's and spent a good amount of time shrimping the "Emma B" from the mouth of Mayport to the waters off the Fernandina Beach jetties.

She is an avid artist and a published author, and enjoys home staging and interior design when not selling real estate. Prior to real estate, she owned and operated several spas, hair salons and dress shops. She has also held various management positions with some of the top resort companies. As spa director, she opened the world renowned Abhasa Waikiki Spa at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu.

She is very familiar with this area's real estate market and will always go the extra mile to show you everything that is available. She and her husband, Robert, work as a team so choosing them always gets you double the service and attention to detail.


Robert Barclay

Robert is a resident of the Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island area and has a wealth of knowledge in the residential and commercial markets both on and off the Island. His areas of concentration are on Amelia Island and cover ocean front to the historic district and off island to the Interstate. He and his wife Deborah love living in this quaint oceanfront community that has all the charm of a quiet sea port but with all the modern conveniences. In the past he was a 30-year veteran in the hotel industry where he held many financial executive positions with various companies from as far away as Hawaii, and as close as the Marriott at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach. He has worked in the Florida Keys and the Bahamas and in each location bought and sold property.

During his time on the road, he and his wife have personally bought and sold ten homes or condos, so they consider themselves experts when it comes to preparing your home for sale or knowing what to look for from a buyer's perspective. They have been successful in selling properties thanks to Deborah's eye for detail, and for staging and presenting a home in its best light. Speaking of Deborah, they have been married 13 years and live here in Fernandina Beach with their two Chihuahuas, Taco Belle and Izza Belle.
